Install with an Electric Pump
Yes, the Bison Pump can be installed in a well that already has a submersible pump. There are a couple of options here. Depending on your well set-up, the wires can come out through the base of the Bison Pump, or through the side of the casing using a Conduit El (sold by Bison). Inside the well, the Bison Pump can be installed “In-Line” with your submersible pump (see the Inline Deep Well Pump) or it can be installed beside it. Which Pump is Right for Me?
The pump you need depends on your well connection. If the casing sets above the ground, the Standard Deep Well Pump will fit over the top and screw into the sides of the casing.
However, if your connection is a flat surface, you may need the Flat Flange Deep Well Pump, which is designed to be installed on a flat surface such as a concrete slab.
The Inline Deep Well Pump is designed to be installed “inline” with your submersible pump. The Well Point Pump is designed to install directly onto the pipe, normally used on 2” connections but other options are possible too.
