The Bison In-Line Deep Well Hand Pump
The Bison in-line pump cylinder and pump head are typically used on 4" casings that already have an electric submersible water pump in the well and the static water level is below 25 vertical feet.
If freezing air temperatures are an issue, provisions would have to be made to house the hand pump in a heated enclosure.
The Bison In-Line Hand Pump arrangement is primarily used in warmer climates. The pump cylinder is cut into the existing water line that the submersible pump is connected to in the well casing and our 8' sections of PVC Pipe and 3/8" SS rod connect from the cylinder up to the well head which is secured to the top of the well casing.
Bucket Holder
Our integrated bucket hook will allow one person to efficiently fill a bucket, hands free. The design strength of our hand pump allows buckets up to 5 gallons in size.
Hose Attachment
Every hand pump allows you to attach a standard hose. This brass attachment is sturdy and functional.

Technical Information
A deep well hand pump is used when the static water level, (distance from the top of the ground to the top of the water in the well) is 25' or more. The pump cylinder is installed at least 20' below the static water level and connects to the well head (the portion of the hand pump that mounts to the top of the casing) with a series of 8' lengths of PVC pipe and stainless steel lift rod. The deep well hand pump can reach to depths in excess of 200'.
