DOES A BISON PUMP “PUMP” HARDER THAN THE COMPETITION?

Using stainless steel lift rods create slightly more weight than fiberglass, but not enough to notice a significant difference. The standard cylinder for a Bison Pump is a 3″ cylinder which lifts more VOLUME and will be harder to pump than using an 1 1/2″ cylinder.

So when you purchase a hand pump, then consider who will be pumping the hand pump. If you want more volume and don’t mind a little more weight, then increase the size of your cylinder. If you want easy pumping, decrease the size of your cylinder.
