The Bison Quick Disconnect Hand Pump
The Bison Quick Disconnect Hand Pump is our state of the art, hand made, stainless steel pump which can be easily removed from the pump head while protecting your water supply.
This incredible piece of workmanship is ideal for applications where you want the peace of mind of having a hand pump but don't want the pump assembly visible at all times. This pump is easily connected when you need it!
The Quick Disconnect Pump is perfect for:

- Housing associations who may require temporary access to the well water

The Quick Disconnect Pump can be used in both our deep well hand pump and two-piece shallow well hand pump applications. For added security we also have available tamper-proof security fasteners and locks for any application.
Lockable Cap
When you remove the pump a locking cap fits securely over the well head to protect your water supply.
Tamper Proof
As an option, our quick detach pumps can also be made tamper proof. We use a unique locking cap system and tamper proof locking nuts. As part of the package you will receive the required tools to assemble and remove the tamper-proof nuts and bolts along with our security lock.
Quick Disconnect
The quick disconnect process can be completed easily. Both the pump and the lift rod can connect/disconnect within a matter of minutes!

Technical Information
A deep well hand pump is used when the static water level, (distance from the top of the ground to the top of the water in the well) is 25' or more. The pump cylinder is installed at least 20' below the static water level and connects to the well head (the portion of the hand pump that mounts to the top of the casing) with a series of 8' lengths of PVC pipe and stainless steel lift rod. The deep well hand pump can reach to depths in excess of 200'.
