This example is for a Bison Stainless Steel Deep Well Hand Pump that produces approximately 22 oz/per stroke and comes equipped with a hose bibb adapter. The following is an example of the parts you would need for a well that is 6” in diameter with a static water level of 50’. *

     *   The static water level is equal to the vertical distance from the top of the ground to the top of the water in the well.  As a rule of thumb, the pump cylinder should be set approximately 20' below the static water level.
